My website can contain triggering material, your mileage of which may vary. There may not always be cuts or warnings before such content (though I do try, within reason, my self-hosted website is not Tumblr: I’m not going to tag stuff like “water” with “hydrophobia” or a seed pod or fruit with “trypophobia”).
I am absolutely NOT saying that these are not valid triggers, nor am I in any way trying to disrespect anyone who suffers from them. I simply giving a heads-up that my personal self-hosted blog is not a space where I would content warn to that degree.
Some examples of content you can come across on my blog are:
๐ฅ Photos of food (I tag it, but it is never hidden under a cut or warning).
๐ดโโ๏ธ Discussion of fitness, exercise and weight loss topics, including calorie counting at times (I am pretty good about tagging this and hiding it under a cut).
๐ท Physical illness/mental health (tagged and sometimes under cut or warning depending on length/intensity of topic).
๐ Discussion and pictures of insects and โcreepyโ critters, such as snails, snakes, rats, spiders and more (tagged, not usually under a cut, but sometimes a warning depending on the case).
๐ช More intense topics such as death or horror in relation to franchises I enjoy, such as Childโs Play/the Chucky TV series (tagged, never under a cut or warning. I do not post gore or bloody stuff.
๐ My website hosts my books, and these can at times have violent and upsetting scenarios of all sorts present in them. If youโre upset by un-CWโd content of any kind in fictional media, please do not read my books in order to prevent any unnecessary distress.
While I do aim to tag appropriately whenever possible, I gently ask that you please only visit if you feel you can handle running into one of these topics without a warning, or with the level of warning I outlined above.
