Another Scooter Ride 🛴💨
Today, for my daily exercise, I once again headed out on my kick scooter for a few miles 🛴 Went grocery shopping, and had a Goodwill stroll!
At Goodwill I found two Pinky and The Brain shirts for just $1 each. They have some wear but you can’t beat that price!
Today I was able to have something I haven’t had in a long time. A bakery-made black and white cookie:
I used to get them all the time back when Starbucks carried them. I do wish they would return. There was a petition for it one time but I guess it didn’t make a difference.
I am nostalgic about so many things related to Starbucks. Having Bearista bears throughout the years. Selling indie CDs and such. Jazzy music. Independent local painters’ art exhibits. One place near me had an actual live jazz band! The atmosphere at Starbucks used to be very different years ago and I think these days I primarily go for those memories even though it’s mostly all changed. And I probably will until they close down if they ever do.
