Went to Build-a-Bear today with one of my friends, their boyfriend and my husband! Found a few things for my hug. 💖🧸

Got some new bows, cute jewelry and hair ties too! I share these with my bears also. 🌈🧸

My name is Marina! 🐌 I am an artist and fantasy writer, born in ’83. You’re welcome to refer to me as she/her. 🌈💙💖💛

I’m a big animal lover (with four cats and a varying number of pet snails) and an avid reader, with books in almost every room of the house. I have a passion for dinosaurs and natural history, as well as fantasy and science fiction. I also really enjoy gaming, primarily Nintendo Switch and PC.

I’m what you could describe as peculiar. I talk peculiar, dress peculiar, and have peculiar interests, to put it all mildly. Being this way has sometimes made it hard to find people I vibe with, but it has also led me down some interesting paths in life.

I became a U.S. citizen on May 21st, 2021!

I have a wild variety of interests. I like history, theology, reading, writing, the outdoors, obsolete tech and media, and collecting Charlie Bears. I keep garden snails as pets, and have kept rats in the past (my husband and I also have four cats).

My all-time favorite animals are squirrels. I put feeders out for them which are also visited by blue jays and the ocassional mouse. I love all animals, even snakes and creepy crawlies.

I also really love toys and colorful things, I have a serious side with serious interests but I love anything reminiscent of childhood days.

Rats will forever own a piece of my heart.
