I finally finished catching up with old posts! Last few days have mostly been working on commissions, studying for the citizenship test, and getting stuff done around the house.

A week or so ago I went to Hobby Lobby and found a rare snail figure. I tend to snag them when I can. He now sits in the snail book shelf:

I’m terribly excited because my new Thomas roundhouse is coming today. Buying on OfferUp makes me nervous…I really hope it’s not damaged, and that the sound works. Hopefully all is good with it so we can play with it tomorrow.

I’m looking forward to date night. I’ll have my roundhouse, Christopher will have his new special locomotive that reacts to special cards, and I have a few little houses and such to decorate the town with.

I’m also so, so excited about our upcoming trip. I have a new bag to wake on this trip specifically:

It is neither too big nor too small, it just about fits my iPad and necessities. And it not as toddler-y as other Thomas bags out there.
