Good morning, everyone. Waking up at home seems like a dream. I have at least one full day of cleaning and unpacking, but I donโt care, Iโm home.
A few pretty ugly sides of me came out this week as a result of being in a situation I simply couldnโt handle for that length of time. No matter what, this is something I want to work on โbut itโs also pretty hard for me to do.
Right now though โIโm going to concentrate on the immediate and the practical. Showering. Unpacking. Cleaning. Grocery shopping. Loving on my pets.
I hope by the end of the day, I have everything done and find myself working on commissions, maybe even having knocked out a blog post with the remaining photos of the trip (I did, after all, continue taking photos).
I gotta say, nothing like a week (mostly) away from my work to remind me how deeply I love it even at the worst of times. And to also remind me of my love of reading. All I had was the first volume of Jarvis’ Hagwood Trilogy and boy did I lose myself in its pages. Desperately trying to get a hold of a hardcover copy of volume #2.
