Home Again ๐Ÿกโœจ

Good morning, everyone. Waking up at home seems like a dream. I have at least one full day of cleaning and unpacking, but I donโ€™t care, Iโ€™m home.

A few pretty ugly sides of me came out this week as a result of being in a situation I simply couldnโ€™t handle for that length of time. No matter what, this is something I want to work on โ€”but itโ€™s also pretty hard for me to do.

Right now though โ€”Iโ€™m going to concentrate on the immediate and the practical. Showering. Unpacking. Cleaning. Grocery shopping. Loving on my pets.

I hope by the end of the day, I have everything done and find myself working on commissions, maybe even having knocked out a blog post with the remaining photos of the trip (I did, after all, continue taking photos).

I gotta say, nothing like a week (mostly) away from my work to remind me how deeply I love it even at the worst of times. And to also remind me of my love of reading. All I had was the first volume of Jarvis’ Hagwood Trilogy and boy did I lose myself in its pages. Desperately trying to get a hold of a hardcover copy of volume #2.
