2022 Wrap-Up ๐ŸŽ†

Alright… it’s the second of January and that officially marks the end of the holidays for me! I’m back to work and back to my exercise and diet. I’ve updated the blog back to normal and should be taking the house decorations down today. And here is my little summary of New Year’s Eve.

I went out on my walk in the morning, since I’ve been skipping them more than I’d like. I met this little slimy friend:

They usually go to sleep on fences like this and burn in the sun, so I moved them to a safe spot.

The night before I got some sparklers for New Year’s Eve:

Dinner was a lot of snacks, and beef empanadas that I made. I had a nice little spread set out. ๐Ÿฅณ

I took these photos of my studio after the latest remodel. I love how it looks with all the pretty lights! Only the multicolored lights are my Christmas decor, but I may leave those permanently too… I like them too much.

While I made dinner, Christopher and our friend were having fun modifying a couple of Gameboys (a Gameboy and a Gameboy Color). It was a super cool mod, Iโ€™ll probably post video of it later. I love watching and listening while they work on a project. Itโ€™s a warm and fuzzy feeling.

We lit some sparklers before dinner and some after. I had fun with them. The neighbors did lots of fireworks too, right across the street and we brought out chairs out and our drinks and watched. It was so nice!

Also, my new bootleg iPhone cases finally arrived on New Year’s Eve:

What do you mean you donโ€™t know who Cooke Mooto is? And surely youโ€™ve heard of Bird? THE Bird? Also for some reason Bert and Ernie are drinking (possible) alcohol in a school bus.

Anyway, that’s that, and it’s time to get back to work! There is a lot going on right now… catching up on commissions, finishing the room for our friend to move in, last minute prep for the cruise (on that note –I am not going to any conventions this year, just a heads-up) so I better get to it all. I hope everyone has a wonderful 2022, and thank you for all your support over the last year!
