My Little People Collection ๐Ÿง’๐ŸŒˆ

Hey guys! I wanted to share my Little People collection. Some of this I’ve had for a while and some is newer. I actually have been longingly gazing at Little People toys basically for as long as I have been in the USA… They are so, so very cute, and the sort of toy I would have loved as a little girl. But even as a toy collector I always felt like they were just… I don’t know, too babyish? I felt too self-conscious. I did get The Office set for Christmas last year, which I didn’t feel awkward about putting on my Christmas list:

But, nothing beyond that until this year. Now I actually have enough to “play with” (AKA, take photos of multiple fun scenes). So I’d like to share my sets/collection.

First, I got the Elf set with Buddy and Jovie. It kinda broke my heart to open this box! It had paper snow inside, making it effectively a snowglobe. But I really want to play with the figures. ๐Ÿ˜…

Very cute illustration in the back too…

Next is my Christmas Story Little People. Like the Elf one, the box is beautiful, really feels like a shame to open it:

Here’s the back:

The figures are so cute and detailed –here’s Ralphie!

I think Randy is by far the cutest and most detailed:

I also have a small recycling truck. I love how all of the vehicles in the Little People world are sentient, kinda like in Thomas’ world:

Next is the Food Truck. It’s so cute, too!

Out of the box:

Even if it’s just a sticker, look at that detail!

My nicest set so far is the Amazon Exclusive Big Helpers Home. What makes it exclusive is the special colors. I really love this little house. It’s super cute!

To be quite honest it has brought me far more joy than I imagined. When I ordered it, I thought “the moment I take this out of the box I’m going to feel like an idiot”. But I don’t, it is too adorable, everything is so perfect. When I moved things around for this posts’ pictures, I just felt so much happiness.

Here’s some photos of the very charming inside:

I thought I’d hate the sounds/effects and leave them off, but even those are adorable, starting with the kitchen light that turns on:

And the playroom:

There’s many fun sliding things and details even when you have no sound:

When it comes to actual figures, my most favorite set is the recent E.T. one. I love it so, so much!

This is just a random little figure I got the other day:

Finally, recently Christopher let me get this school bus. It should arrive tomorrow, and I’ll take photos then!

That’s all I have for now. I hope to have time to play/take photos sometime soon, but I am so busy with work. Hope you enjoyed seeing my cute little collection!

New Coloring Books! ๐ŸŒˆ๐Ÿ“š

I’m trying to catch up on posts regarding new goodies I’ve gotten. I can’t really post everything as my blog was really neglected for a long time (though, you wouldn’t be able to tell since I post a lot when I catch up and it’s all properly post-dated). Anyway! Today’s post is about coloring books.

Even though I’ve been collecting coloring books for the better part of five years, I don’t think I’ve actually ever voiced that. I don’t use them: I keep them for scanning and then printing into Bristol board, my favorite method for coloring. This also allows me to keep certain irreplaceable books pristine, such as the NIB collection I got on eBay of Muppet Babies coloring books (from the original show) or the set of Moomin coloring books, all in Swedish, that I found brand new at Goodwill of all places.

One of my newest finds is this Mandalorian coloring book. I love it!

This might be one of the few that are more for collectible purposes only rather than ever printing and coloring, but I never know if a friend I happen to have over might like to color them.

Ok, this was a HECK of a find! If you know me well, you’ll know that I love, LOVE Hercules. It’s one of my favorite Disney movies. Herc merch isn’t that easy to find, but a coloring book?? In 2022?? What? I jumped on it. It even has holographic stickers!

Here’s one of the inside pages…

So, the Bluey one I’ve had for a few months. But I don’t think I’ve showed it yet. Since I’m showing the Berenstain Bears one, I figure I might show this one also. I’m so excited for the season, so I can use these!

The Berenstain Bears one is AMAZING. It is SO thick, and the scenes are my most favorite sort of thing to color. I can’t wait!

The Bluey one is actually an activity book for the most part. But I’m really excited about it too!

Also, I’ll probably use this letter… ๐Ÿ˜

That’s it for now!
