💸 Commission Rates

All of these rates are STARTING PRICES. Costs can vary depending on whether your character has wings, horns, complicated markings, multiple limbs, or a combination of these things, or whether you want to be holding something such as a stuffed animal. If you’re budgeting to commission artwork for me, please use the rates below as a guideline, with the understanding that rates can and do vary per specific commission.

🌈 Characters Only 🌈

Style 1: LINE ART

My line art style usually includes screentones and sometimes may include detailed crosshatching.

PLEASE NOTE: I allow coloring of my line art by either the commissioner or someone else of the commissioner’s choice. This includes paying someone else to color it. When posting colored line art, please specify that I drew the lines and someone else colored them. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE MAY YOU COLOR LINE ART YOU COMMISSION FROM ME TO INCLUDE GORE, BODILY FLUIDS, OR HATE SYMBOLS.

Starting Rate: $40 per character with transparent background. $30 per additional character –please note the characters must be interacting in some way that makes them part of the same picture. A minimal floor/ground/grass can be added at no extra cost.

Style 2: FLATS

This style is mostly flat colors, but I generally add some things like textures and gradients where applicable.

Starting Rate: $50 per character with transparent background. $40 per additional character –please note the characters must be interacting in some way that makes them part of the same picture. Add $15 for patterned, bordered background as pictured in the sample to the right. I will pick something that complements your character, but you are welcome to suggest a theme.

Style 3: FULLY RENDERED

This is my fully rendered style. It includes shadows, highlights, gradients, textures, and may or may not have colored lines depending on the piece to enhance certain aspects of the illustration (this is at my discretion.)

Starting Rate: $60 per character with transparent background. $45 per additional character –please note the characters must be interacting in some way that makes them part of the same picture. Add $15 for patterned, bordered background as pictured in the sample to the right. I will pick something that complements your character, but you are welcome to suggest a theme.

🌈 Characters With BGs 🌈

Style 1: LINE ART

My line art style usually includes screentones and sometimes may include detailed crosshatching.

Starting Rate: $75 for one character with detailed drawn background. $35 each additional character. Certain additional props, complex markings, extra limbs may cost extra.

Style 2: FLATS

This style is mostly flat colors, but I generally add some things like textures and gradients where applicable.

Starting Rate: $85 for one character with drawn background. $25 each additional character. Certain additional props, complex markings, extra limbs may cost extra.

Style 3: FULLY RENDERED

Starting Rate: $105 for one character with detailed drawn background. $40 each additional character. Certain additional props, complex markings, extra limbs may cost extra.

🌈 Reference Sheets 🌈

Below you can see samples of reference sheets I’ve done in the past. If you want to commission me for a ref sheet, I am offering simple ones for $100. This rate includes the following:

TWO (2) standing flat-color poses (Front and back). You can choose to be wearing an outfit or be naked/wearing underwear. I HIGHLY recommend the latter, because I can easily create an outfit for you as an add-on down the road for a small fee, making it easy to upgrade your ref sheet over time.
Color chart.
Name, gender, species, age, weight/height and a small paragraph describing your character.
ONE (1) prop (Such as a toy or accessory, think stuffed animal/collar/bandana/etc.)

You DO still need to provide at least one basic reference image for me to work from. At present I am not drawing ref sheets from text descriptions alone.

🌈 Convention Badges 🌈

Convention badges are possibly my favorite thing to draw! They are quick and a lot of fun, and I am always happy and honored that someone chose me to draw them on something that will represent them at a con.

While you can always buy the digital version of one of my badges for $60, for $75* you get a really deluxe version: In addition to being printed on the highest quality paper sold for my printer, they are laminated using 7mil thick sleeves, and they are 6″ x 4″ in size at a minimum –sometimes a little bigger. You’ll be noticed with these! You will also get the choice of a lanyard or badge clip.

*Shipping within the US is $5.00. International shipping will incur an additional charge of up to $15.00 depending on which country it is shipped to.

🌈 Icons 🌈

Want a brand new face for your social media and art site icons? I offer icons both flat colored and shaded, and deliver them in several sizes for your convenience. You also get a high-res (300 PPI, usually at least 2,000 x 2,000 px) version just like with my other commissions.

I do not offer line art icons. Flat color icons are $35. Fully rendered ones are $45. Icons are either a close-up of the face, or at most, waist up, depending on the pose.

🌈 Telegram Stickers 🌈

When I draw a “Telegram sticker”, I work with the same level of detail as any other single character commission and it takes me just as long. For this reason, you have to refer to the prices above, depending on the style of art you want.

Basically, as long as you tell me beforehand, I’m happy to create you a Telegram sticker size version of your regularly-priced commission, in addition to the usual sizes, at no extra charge, as long as your commission has no background or has a patterned background. However I no longer offer stickers at a lower price. It’s not worth it to me, they take as long as normal commissions.
