I have something exciting to share with you all! As you may know, in addition to being an artist for ODU, I am an also an artist for Littles Laboratory, a store that makes onesies, boxers, bloomers, tutus, and other things with super cute and nerdy patterns. I’ve been working for them for a bit now, but this is my first time sharing the work here. I’ll be posting the individual critters that composed my latest two designs, which both revolve around cryptids: one is all baby cryptids and the other one has a creepier vibe. Below are all the baby cryptids!

Morning, everyone! My mood is becoming a little lighter as the days go by… I guess I’m getting used to the new state of things.
The new snails are getting used to the tank. They need to be encouraged to eat (at least one of them does) but as soon as I put them over food, they start devouring it. Soon it will be time for the first tank clean. I have a new little decoration to put in there when I do that. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Today I expect to complete an overdue commission that is really detailed. Also, a new Charlie Bear is arriving. It kinda feels like today is Monday, because Christopher stayed home yesterday to take me to the doctor’s. 🙊 Is there something you’re looking forward to this week?
Outfit for today! I think I have a new ultimate favorite LL pattern! Omg, this onesie. This onesie!!! This is the most beautiful pattern I have ever seen! I’m not even that big on jellyfish but my husband adores them, so I got this in part because it made me think of him.
Well, he actually liked my whole outfit this morning which is really rare… most days I dress for myself, not to look sexy or anything. He knows and supports this but for that reason it’s rare that he considers any of my outfits his brand of “cute”, so it’s a rare compliment. I was really happy!
Some of you might have guessed this already, but… 🙈 I’m now part of the AMAZING Littles Laboratory team, as an artist! 🧪🧠🌈✨ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I can hardly believe it… to be able to design products for multiple wonderful companies in our community (since I still do design for others, so don’t worry, my work is and will continue to be available in products by multiple excellent companies) is such a dream and I feel so fortunate! Of course, this is in addition to me also designing my own patterns for other products, so in spite of the current uncertainty it’s all looking really busy and exciting for this year! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Littles Laboratory has a nerdy design direction that challenges me in new ways, and allows me to explore other things with my artwork. That is so, so exciting for me, and I can’t wait to collaborate with the LL team to create even more cute things for you guys. I’m making new friends as I go, too, which is a wonderful added bonus. I am able to get more work because of your feedback, comments, and support of my art. I want you to know I appreciate each and every one of you and don’t take that support for granted. Thank you for helping me get here! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ (Am I wearing a new onesie for LittlesLaboratory in this photo?? Maybe… 👀📚🦉🐛 )
