My studio bunk bed is all done! Some choice stuffie friends have been placed on the top now that there is a mattress there. It’s basically a stuffie corral. ๐
Of course it’s also been thoroughly decorated, and I chose Bizcocho and Maplenut to hang on the edge. Everyone seems happy and comfy on the new sheet:
It looks especially lovely in the dark with all the pretty fairy lights on:
So, yeah… it took months to get this from IKEA but I am quite pleased!
My friend Mwako is visiting! We went to Tree Tops Park (where I went by myself recently) and explored some new trails. This time I brought Maplenut along! ๐๐ฐ
Maplenut is excited to get going!
We took so many photos. I love how they all came out.
Found some berries! Most of them were dry. Despite it being just a couple weeks difference the park looked different. Many dry leaves and berries and the water was a lot lower.
This was one big tree!
Something really wonderful that happened is that I was able to get super close to a pair of squirrels. They were so friendly!
Mwako took a candid photo of me trying to interact with them ๐
This was the last photo. Maplenut was all worn out!
Time to hydrate! ๐ฆ
We had a lot of fun. Iโm a bit sweaty ๐๐ฆ
Christopher made turkey burgers for dinner and we watched An American Werewolf In London afterwards! ๐บ
I can’t wait to have another fun day with my dear friend tomorrow.
Iโve been a little quiet recently I know. Sorry about that! Been getting the house looking a little nicer, and decorated, working on commissions, working on my books, and yes, still dealing with my depression too. Itโs still a heavy weight on my shoulders. I am doing the best I can. I hope you are all doing well, too. Anyway this was my lunch today, a cucumber and cream cheese sandwich ๐ฅช ๐ฅ
I allowed myself to game a little today. Maplenut kept me company:
And so did Kotoko! This is a bad photo, but Kotoko is heavy and she wasnโt letting me move really or even breathe!
Then it was time for a snacc:
Something to look forward this weekend –baking seasonal cookies!
Iโm going to a Littles meet on Sunday, and trying to stay busy and cheerful. Hope you all have a wonderful Friday! ๐
I love this yogurt so much! It’s one of my favorite snacks recently.
LuckyBars are another. I always have a hard time finding LuckyBars and they are honestly expensive for what they are but they are not too unhealthy.
My little lady and I have been spending more time together ๐๐ฑ (for those not familiar with Rosie she lost an eye to an infection when she was very small, before we adopted her.)
A buncha huggable pals…
A package came for Christopher and he told me to open it. It was a copy of Collection Of Mana, for me! I was really surprised! ๐ญ๐๐๐
Maplenut hopes youโve remembered to be kind to yourself today. If you had a rough one, donโt forget that tomorrow is another day without any mistakes, a wonderful gift ready just for you. Take what you learned today and make tomorrow better! ๐
I made a pin-on pacifier for my plushie squirrel Maplenut! I used resin glue to put a safety pin on the back, and hot glue for the charm on the front. Iโm gonna clean up the remainings of glue tomorrow, since Iโm letting the resin cure until then. Overall Iโm quite happy with it!
โชI canโt wait until itโs permanently on, how freaking cute IS HE!! Oh my lord ๐ญ๐๐โจโฌ
Itโs big, but it fits!! ๐งธ๐ฟ๏ธ๐๐๐๐๐
Iโm especially fond of Maplenut because unlike my other plushies I consider him a bit more of aโฆ toddler if that makes sense? Hence why I got him the paci and all. In my head heโs my fussy lil 3 year old. I just adore the perpetually pouty expression he has.
I have personalities this way for all my plushies/toys that are meaningful to me. How about you?
Maplenutโs got himself new shoes and a new necklace! Also got some overalls for him coming in the mail and the pacifier I have to customize so he can wear it.
