Li’l Toy Hunt ๐Ÿดโ€โ˜ ๏ธ๐ŸŒˆ

Today I went to look at toys! I bought a couple of tiny small things, and groceries, and one big thing, but mostly I looked at things and took pictures which is always fun. I also enjoyed a really nice bike ride on the way there! Thankfully the rain that began in the morning stopped by the afternoon.

Here’s a Mei plushie from Turning Red!! It was so cute!

Look at this cute Stitch eating a watermelon slice. ๐Ÿ‰ I wanted to buy him for Christopher!

Even though this is โ€œfakeโ€ Little People I really love this set and may get it eventually to use with my official LPโ€™s. Itโ€™s awesome!

This Walmart exclusive LEGO promo really caught my eye!! ๐Ÿ‘€

This baby kitten doll was very cute too. And big!

This was really cute:

Iโ€™m getting mixed messages from this bagโ€ฆ

After Walmart I went to sam’s Club to pick up the Little People camping set I wanted. I bought it without consideration for the package’s size, shape, nor my transportation method of choice for the day, and once I went back to my bike, a thought fleetingly crossed my mind: perhaps I did not think this thoroughly. ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿคž๐Ÿคž

So began the most awkward bike ride home ever. A woman gave me an extremely amused smile as I awkwardly rode by her on the sidewalk. I was so glad people around didn’t know I bought this for myself.

Then again I was wearing my dinosaur shirt by Wen, my bike has pink decor in the tires and a huge sunflower in a pink basket plus a large perler bead heart, a squirrel bell AND a squirrel horn. And furry stickers. ๐Ÿ™ƒ And with the kicker of having this backpack on me at the time, I probably wasn’t fooling anyone.

Me: ducks to avoid low branches
My giant toy box: smash smash smash smash

Anyway I made it home with my treasures and my groceries. It was a fun outing.

A Relaxing Weekend ๐ŸŒท๐ŸŒน๐ŸŒผ

Despite being so busy, and a hiccup here and there, I think we really had a good weekend. Yesterday we played cards and did rebus puzzles. And I’ve gotten so much done in terms of exercise, commissions, and housework too. ๐Ÿ˜Š

The dishwasher broke down today. Well, it broke down a while ago, and wasn’t drying the dishes. Opening it up, and doing research, Christopher found the issues and came to the conclusion that we’ve reached a point where a fix does not make economic sense (this dishwasher has been fixed a few times by him) so, a new dishwasher it is.

We got super lucky, and managed to snag one for delivery tomorrow. With the upcoming party, we really needed it.

My T. rex Patriotic garden flag came in!

Here it is, installed:

With Christopher’s blessing, I also put this by the front window:

Unfortunately things have become such that overt displays of patriotism can cause people to assume that we hold a certain political leaning/viewpoints that we strongly disagree with. ๐Ÿ˜ฅ So I wanted to make it clear where we stand, regardless of all the USA flags.

That aside, I’ve been working on making the back porch prettier. The little gnome girl was a present from my mom:

I had one of these today while working on commissions, they’re pretty cute:

For dinner, Christopher obliged my rather selfish request and made me absolutely fantastic teriyaki turkey meatballs with rice (I think it was teriyaki, anyway… I made the rice, to help.) It was a great dinner!

Tomorrow I’ll be up at 6:30am again. Lots ‘n lots to do… ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ’ฆ

An Outing ๐ŸŒˆ๐Ÿ›’

Yesterday I went shopping for groceries and visited a few stores for fun. I went to the Salvation Army, which was as gross as ever, and to Party City. Oh, and to Goodwill. I did find a few goodies.

At Party City I got a cup and some napkins and paper plates. Unfortunately it’s all the new 3D style. The hand-drawn art of the “generation” prior to this one is hard to find now, all they had left is a pack of thank you cards. ๐Ÿ˜ž

In the mail when I got home was a little packet I’d been expecting, with a couple of signs and the thing I actually cared about, a little Fat Controller of my very own.

At Goodwill I found two books. One was a very interesting books about unicorns and their history in different cultures:

The other one was a Rugrats book about Christmas which is kinda weird since Tommy’s family is Jewish and this is told from Tommy’s POV:

The art was cute though:

At the Salvation Army (did I mention this place was gross? matches their politics I guess) I found a giant checkers set, brand new in its wrapping, for $6.99. I’d been wanting one forever, so I got it.

The little Big Bird keychain was from Party City.

Here’s an after-lunch treat I had while playing Cafรฉ Enchantรฉ. I’m finally on Ignis’ route. The main story took FOREVER!

That’s all for this post!

A Good Day So Far ๐ŸŒป

How is your day going, guys? This morning I went to a local seamstress to add buttonholes to my brand new Lazy Oaf bunny dungarees. They should be ready on Friday and Iโ€™m really excited to wear them! Whatโ€™s something youโ€™re excited about this week?ย

I got to work on a fun commission today! ๐Ÿ’•โœจ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒˆ

A super sweet commissioner of mine sent me Pokรฉmon Mystery Dungeon Rescue Team DX as a gift, I feel so grateful and lucky! ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’•

I’m going to play games for exactly one hour before starting my many chores. Been working on art most of the day so far!
